GameXchanger Terms and Conditions
Please make sure you have read and understand the following terms and conditions of use before using the GameXChanger service. By using the GameXChanger service you are agreeing to the following conditions:
- The GameXChanger system automatically generates a credit value quote per item based on the retail value, age and condition of an item.
- GameXChanger reserves the right to change this quote when we receive your goods. If this is the case we will inform you of our offer via email and you will be given 7 days to respond. If you are unhappy with a modified quote we will happily return the items to you free of charge. If we have not received a response after 7 days we will complete the exchange and credit your account with the modified amount of credits.
- GameXChanger may adjust the quote given if, amongst other reasons..
- A retail price has dropped before we receive your goods.
- The condition of the items is not as described.
- Once a quote has been given you have 30 days to send your goods in. After this time any quotes will not be valid. If goods are received after 30 days from the quote generation, we will offer you an alternative quote via email.
- Once goods have arrived you have 7 days to cancel your exchange by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org as long as you have not spent any of the credits associated with the items. If you choose to cancel, your goods will be returned to you free of charge, and we will remove any credits that were associated with the returned items including postage credits.
- Once a quote has been accepted, either via email or by 7 days passing and no cancellation request being sent, all goods become property of GameXChanger and the appropriate gamexchanger credits will be credited to your account with 30 days.
- Credits have no monitary value and are not refundable.
- Credits expire after 12 months.
- We reserve the right to refuse any items. If we do we will send them back to you at for no cost.
- Items are available to purchase from the GameXChanger site.
- All items unless marked otherwise are second hand.
- The condition of the item will be visible on the product page. Conditions are as follows:
- As New: The item is in pristine condition, no scratches or damage and complete with original packaging, manuals etc.
- Used: The item may be slightly damaged or may be missing original packaging, manuals etc but is in full working condition.
- Well Used: The item is slightly damaged, may be missing original packaging, manuals etc but is in full working condition.
- When purchasing items you can choose to pay with money or credits. From time to time GameXChanger may choose to only allow purchasing using credits.
- If you are paying with credits, you must have enough credits to cover the full cost of items in the checkout. We do not take part credit payments for orders.
- All orders are subject to a £1.50 delivery charge, wether you are paying with credits or money. This charge must be paid before we complete your order.
- Although we do have systems in place to eliminate out of stock being sold, there may be occassions when you are able to purchase an out of stock item. If this is the case we will refund the credits or money for this item before shipping any remaining parts of your order. If there are no other items in your order, we will also refund your postage.
- We only currently deliver to the United Kingdom.
- We only offer Royal Mail UK Recorded Delivery.
- Delivery is charged as a flat fee of £1.50 per order.
- Once we have shipped your order, we will not refund the delivery cost.
- We aim to despatch orders by the next working day after you place your order.
- In some cases we may take up to 30 days to send goods.
- If we are unable to ship any part of your order within 30 days we will offer a refund.
Returns & Refunds
- If on receipt of your goods you are not satisfied, we will happy offer a refund providing you return the goods in their original condition.
- We only accept returns, and are only able to offer refunds on goods returned within 7 days or receipt.
- We cannot refund any postage costs and are unable to cover return postage costs for any reason.
- If an item is deemed to not be in its original condition when it reaches us we will not be able to offer a refund and will post the item back to you.
- We will only refund back to the original source of funds. For example If you paid for an order with credits we will refund your credits, if you paid for an order via paypal we will only refund back to your paypal account.
- Should you need to send a return back to us, please include a copy of the delivery note that was included in your package originally so we are able to determine which order the return relates to. Package the goods securely so as to avoid damage. We recommend you send the goods back via Royal Mails Recorded Delivery service.
